In 1908 Lenin visited Gorky in his Italian villa in Capri. In the terrace of the villa he played a chess game with an other bolsevik leader Bogdanov. The chess steps of the party remained. I made this animated film based on the steps. I also wrote a novel entitled Chess on the Island, which can be read in Hungarian and Russian. The Italian translation is now being prepared.
