A NIGHT IN THE LENIN LIBRARY

The Lenin Library in Moscow, with 47 million books it is the fifth largest library of the world (by the way, they also have my "Chess Party on the Island", which puts them in front of the others, who just want to get them.) So I have an exhibition in the library. In the staircase hall my posters, in a long corridore hall the etchings, in an other room the anamorphoses and in the huge reading room the enlarged images of my skull illustrations are exhibited. As the highlight of the opening ceremony the members of the audience, following saxophonist Viktor Tóth, wandered through the secret corners of the night library and listened him in the large reading room at the foot of the big Ilyich's statue.

TOKYO (1996 - 2019)

Tokyo - Ginza. Exhibition of Swiss designer Karl Gerstner in the Ginza Graphic Gallery. This visit is an occasion for some remembrance. 23 years ago in 1996 the Hungarian DOPP group had an exhibition there. (DOPP = Ducki, Orosz, Pinczehelyi, Pócs) At that time, Shigeo Fukuda gave the opening speech and László Sáry made music for the opening. The last 3 photos were taken at the GGG at the 1996 exhibition.
